OddBall PBM-5 Mods/Repaints

Hi Everyone,
I have the first of the PBM Mariner repaints and mods done. First is a generic PBM-3C, for this one I made the shorter engine cowl, longer upper carb intake, missing framing to the canopy. I also fixed the issue with the vert. tails, I fixed the outline, and moved the horz. tail mounting spots to where they should be. Next is a PBM-5 SAR out of Norfolk, Va. post war. For displaying the model since I back dated them to the seaplane version, I created a set of simple beaching gear to rest on.
Pericles is doing one build I am working on another. I will do a couple more repaints of the birds.
Enjoy!
Jeff

The SAR colours look really good, nice work!

Finished build should be a beauty, looking forward to it.

Hey Jeff, can you resend me the PBM repaints? My other laptop died in the middle of a backup process...

I am happy you all like these new repaints. Pericles, the PBM-3C is just a generic one. Nickel Boat is not done yet, Need to be finished recoloring, and the ne marking added. Will send soonest.

Beautiful work on the re-paints. I guess I can sell my Rareplanes kit on Ebay.

Well,
The next Mariner repaint is done. This time it is a historical one. The PBM-3C "Nickel Boat" was stationed and in action around Natal, Brazil during the war. It was part of the sinking of two German U-Boats, and was shot down and the crew considered MIA. The battle was with what is considered to be the U-199. One left to go, a PBM-3S anti-sub version in overall white with grey upper surfaces.

Where do we get the re-paint versions, please? At OBP's, I presume?
