Well DK 431 was a 812 Squadron Fairey Firefly F1 or FR.1 embarked on HMS Vengeance betweeen January and August 1946. Named 'Evelyn Tensions' it's colour scheme is now used on the example in the F.A.A. Museum at Yeovilton, U.K.
@Darwin You might feel differently if your name was RTNS Sri Ayuthia and you were in the middle of a 1951 military coup and were about to be sunk in very short order by 2x1000lb bombs from such a Firefly of the Royal Thai Air Force. @Richard I've sent you a PM. |

Evelyn Tentions is also a little wordplay for evil intentions........ this is one of the many repaints I've made of Nobi's Firefly, doing a 'quick' wheels-up build. more pics later. Cheers, Richard |
