planes with maya 2014

Hi,

Like i said in the welcome thread i am a Belgian graphic design student.
I wanted to start making models in 3d with th intention to convert them to paper afterwards. I use the 2014 version of maya.

I am going to put the evolution of my work here.
I decided to start with the Bird of Prey by boeing.

all tips are welcome.

greetings,

Tordek

Looking nice.
Did is a very difficult model to do with only excel and word.
I'm interested in seeing how this turns out with your 3-D modelling.

The design looks very good.
Some wind tunnel tests on the shape would be interesting.

I also use Maya to create models, I find it very intuitive modelling software, although its not ideal for paper modelling.

The bird of prey is looking good so far, best of luck with the projects
