Hello fellow paper modelers!

It's been a while since the last time i post any build thread here, pretty busy at school. but finally got some free time at the end of 2013
so i guess i'll start a new build, Leif Ohlsson's new Cessna 140. i did some quick search on the 'net about the aircraft, i decide to settle with metallic coloured cessna 140

Here's the metallic paper:

I started with the cockpit:

I made left door in opened position to show the cockpit interior

I am of course keeping a good grip of my thumb, hoping & rooting...

. I can see that you're building it with the pattern inwards, instead of outwards. Interesting... I'm sure there's a very good reason for it. - L.

I made the cockpit outside in because i think it would be easier to build the structure first then adding the interior (though i might regret this choice later)

Here's the exterior riveted, i carved the panel lines before bending the parts. also made the interior structure

That's all for tonight, cockpit interior will be added tomorrow

Thank you Gary and Rich, as for the paper, i printed the pattern on 110gr paper then laminated with thin (~50gr) metallic paper. the metallic paper is generic and sold in rolls containing 2 B2-sized paper

This morning update includes attaching the interior floors and making instrument panel, added a little wooden touch to the panel and door

here's some shot of the cockpit parts, including flap lever (which i think most likely wrong) :

And oh, if you're wondering about the scale, the printer setting is set for B5 (JIS) paper, approximately 87% the size of A4. So, after some calculation the scale would be 1/100.
