That looks much better especially if you want to show the nose details.

otherwise, the nose should be closed. Same with the wing fold mechanism.

Fantastic touch there.
I thought about that myself but did it nose closed and gear up.

My pritner was having fits with the colors so I didn't keep it.
It was a test build afteral :P

I am mostly done building the Scimitar (Squadron 800).
I can build well models by Hobby Model, Wilhelmshavener and many others.
Usually I skip certain designers that I think are over-complicated, especially when there is another good quality model from a simpler designer.
But when there is only one version of an interesting airplane I'll build it regardless.
For example the Super Etendard by Fly Model (I mention it because of the similarity to Scimitar, especially the coloring) which I built very successfully.
I was waiting for a long time for a Scimitar model and was happy to purchase it.
It looks gorgeous on paper but the construction is super-complicated. I am already at the point of building the armament and look at the pylons (parts147,152,153) and all I can say that they look nothing like any I saw in any other models. Plus the profiles should be doubled, and ideally some device added to ease attachment to the wings. Also the location of the pylons is not marked on the wings. I had many other difficulties.

Nevertheless, the designer should be applauded for coming up with an original, never-done-before subject and I will be most interested in his next models.
Speaking of which, the Javelin has been done by Emsco, WHM and others, but what about the Buccaneer?

The model can be hosted on Ecardmodels again if he creates an account and we convert the account to a vendor.
