Hi all,

I finished this model before x-mas. Since I took some links for reference, I added some details.

The first version of this model was bad; the just recently published new version ist mich better but contains still some errors. I'll communicate them soon.

Resumé:

A nice model. Nevertheless, I think it was published to fast - I assume I did the beta build. In case of major changes (e.g. complete new livery; minor change: new squadron markings) it should be reflected if it is better to provide many models within a short timeframe and accepting that errors may appear or to wait until it has been checked if everything is okay. From my point of view the 2nd option should be chosen in future!

The model can be easily modified to establish a model, which depicts the original better. Thanks a lot to Nick to publish this model, which is the only one of the Scimitar!

The fit of the model was very good. What I'm complaining about is that due to the new livery the colors of several parts were wrong.

I once got a good reply of a concierge at a Boston hotel referring to tips: "What my work is worth to you". This model is available @ ecardmodels.com: 1/33 Supermarine Scimitar F.1 - Empire Test Pilot School - Paper Model (like some other liveries and several squadrons)
