USAir DC-9

Here's a new paint scheme from Skyline Paper Models, the DC-9 flying for USAir. Unique feature is the simulated bare metal fuselage.

The aluminum effect is very good. Nice lineup with all 3 there.

Sumato is responsible for the nice paint job, including the bare aluminum skin.

Thumbs up

Hi,
This is a very well built model, I really like the bare metal fuselage
We could think that this model is in metal .
Today it's hard to find planes with bare metal livery .
When i saw this, I immediatly bought the Eastern one . The quality is amazing .
Regards,
Ronan

I read the other day that a US carrier retired their (the?) last DC-9 in service. The airliner is, I think they said, over 40 years old.
