I could see myself sitting on a rocking chair gazing into the distance with these MiG's on my lap gently petting them. I would treat this flock of MiGs like my pets.

Thank you all.

I wish I had more time to build them ( a bit busier than normal at work ). But still good progress.

Exclamation LIM canopy

The canopy for the LIM will be the same configuration as the red UTI. Initially I was going to open it up, but I decided to keep it closed because I liked the color scheme and the open canopy would have detracted from it. So the open canopy will be on the silver CS version coming next.

Since it is the same steps as the red canopy, here is the exterior frame work glued on.

dry fit.

I needed to remove entirely the rear glued on deck since it is not seen and actually interferes with the thicker canopy plastic.

the inner frames are ready, but I have to cut them to smaller sections to glue on the inside. I find it impossible to glue a complete interior frame.

and glued on the fuselage.

I will need to clean up the glue on the canopy.

status pictures next.

These photos really give you a sense of how small the real thing is... Quick question is the UTI the same length as the regular MiG-15 or longer?

The single and two seaters were identical in external dimensions. They just added a cockpit aft and enclosed with a new canopy set.
