Challenging project. Exceptionally clean and precise work. Empennage skeleton looks superb.

Very nice work. I've also kept coming back and looking at this model, but am not sure my eyesight is still up to that kind of precision cutting.

Tapcho, Oh I want to see pix :D And yes I will paint.

Gomidefilho, The Me-109 would look fantastic! I want to try that one out if this goes well. You should try one

Zakopious, Thanks :D It is difficult. So delicate.

Yoav, Thanks :D A compliment from you means a lot.

Janx, Ha ha well you know me well. I'm not happy unless I'm in pain :P

Don, Thanks :D Glad you're watching. Hope not to dissapoint.

Darwin, Thanks, hope you do try it.

This model is just as scarry as it was about 8 or 9 years ago.
I'm already past where I failed the 2nd time.
With each new part the nervousness increases.

Coming along really fine. Did you laminate the parts on a thin cardboard? I didn't and as I feared I run into trouble - I created a twisted fuselage which I'm desperately trying to force straight with the remaining two formers to be glued. Anyway, so far it has been a very educational try out for me. ;-)

No laminations at all.
It's on 65 lbs. cardstock.

My 1st failure was on 110 lbs. stock.
I had de-lamination issues with every part I cut out.

I did however coat the main formers with superglue before assembly.
Seems to be doing ok that way.

is there a situation that you are masochist?

otherwise i don't find a reason for such a difficult and a such a Sisyphean work.
take it as a compliment my friend.

i take my hat before you and your patience.....again, good for you.

by the way, with what knife you cut the frames and how do you cut them well?

is the paper printed on a thick cartoon....or is it a thick paper you used?

please with a simple english.

YOAV
