OK, thanks. I use 170g/m2 (don't know the numbers in lbs) matte photo paper and it's a bit flimsy for the work. I too strengthen it with CA but post cutting. I take a picture of my work and post it here if it's OK with you. When and if I get it to a stage where it's presentable. :-)

G1, this is coming along nicely. I like seeing the framework on vehicles, especially the planes. Somewhat reminds me of building a balsa and tissue model. Always wanted to leave one uncovered so the frame was visible but could never resist covering and "painting".
Look forward to more on this build.

Kevin, thanks :D I have a box of 100 #11 Excel blades. A great value. I prefer the Revell blades with the high angled tip for paper though. They don't snap the tip so easily. But for this model the thin point is much easier to work with.

Joe, good to hear another balsa buidler here :D I love sitck and tissue models. I know what you mean about wanting to leave it un-skinned. I have the large Guillow's Corsair that would look fantastic un-covered :D

G1, those giant scale Guillows models are fantastic. One of my 'gotta do' projects for this year is the Stuka done as a semi-card-model. I keep hoping to find the B-29 at a price I can afford (or at least still leave me enough in the budget for buying luxuries like food). Once in your system, there is no cure for craving balsa dust.

Yea, I got the tail section done on 80 gsm paper laminated and CA glue laminated again
on the back. It's kind of flimsy though, it seems that it can hold out when the whole thing
is done. With your permission, I'll show it next.
