Indeed, you're number 4 in the top ranking of posts in the aviation forum. Good luck in becoming #1

3 models I did from "printed long ago" pile. All upsized to full page so scale is unknown.
DC-6

DH Comet (missing engine nozzles but I need to make some gray paper) and Avro Shackleton

Making DC-6 got me thinking about C-54 Skymaster I saw in YT video and Canadair North Star version with same engines as Avro Shackleton.Too many ideas, not enough time.

They are usually ending up about 160-180% larger than originals in 1:300.Like I said I only blow them up to as much as they fill the page 8x11.5.Going further doesn't make much sense since models are meant to be simple and elegant at the same time.

I'm perfectly happy with them. They are perfect "relax" build.

It's models like these designed by the likes of Bruno, repainted by one of the repainters we're blessed with and built and displayed by members like Karol that make this hobby so great.

Comparing with the Shackleton that I built in 2016 http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/551807-post565.html, I would guess that the scale of yours should be some where between 1/180 and 1/200. Yeah, I did put in some details to brag about, hehe.

I think it was your model that made me want one.Very retro looking plane for times she flew in.

I'm perfectly happy with the result too. Nicely done.

and the relax part is indeed a very good description.
These models are designed to be simple (so you don't get stressed) yet sufficiently realistic (so the result is satisfying enough).
