I think that would be a great idea! It would make finding images and ideas easier. I sometimes think Bruno's thread would be easier to navigate if it were broken up by scale. You could have a Bruno 100 scale thread,a 200 scale, A 300 thread ECT.

Little Help with Mig-9
Hi Just started the MiG-9. There seems to be some tricky parts to this model that I can't sort out. I am NOT installing any of the landing gear. I can guess some parts are for that. I researched omidefilho builds of this model. That is the only way I have some idea how the underside of this thing goes together. THis seems to be one of Bruno's more "interesting" models. But then is seems to be a strange aircraft.
One other thought. Gomidefilho's build and others show an open nose with a splitter down the middle. Is that how the piece is supposed to be installed? I like the idea and may have been doing it wrong on other builds (Mig-15) by just using it as a solid piece. Thanks all for the help! #1- I am guessing are the exhaust ducts. #2- This piece I am guessing folds in half but no idea where it goes. #3- These are part of the exhaust area? But exactly where? #4- Not a clue... #5- I am pretty sure this is the final tail assembly. It is set up as a 'roll into cone' from my guess. But I thought it might have something to do with #3 [IMG][/IMG]

#2 is the nose landing gear doors.
#1 is the exhaust. #5 is the aft fuselage #3 looks to be the exhaust cones. Here is Pericles' build of the Mig-9. The pics should help.

Finished up the first of my MiG series. The MiG-15. One of Bruno's nice easy builds. It is done in 150 scale.

Hello friend, I have built this plane some time ago so I can provide some help: 1. As you mention are the exhaust cones. 3. The pieces are folded in half and go inside the cones vertically as per the fuselage. 2. Front wheel cover 4. Folds in half with the small cycle at the edge created. This goes in the front of the plane inside the two parts to the right of it...the gray is the outside fuselage and the black is the internal where piece #4 goes vertically. 5. Is the tail piece of the fuselage, with the black at the bottom and it connects to the pieces next to it, left (with stars) and right(black). By the way the black piece you need to fold in a kind of Y shape so that the engines will go in the two curves created. Good luck!!! |
