Republic RC-3 Sea Bee Israeli livery 1/200

Hi, Bruno's Republic RC-3 Sea Bee is up the stage now. It's upscaled to 1/200 to tie in with my 1/200 series (for the USN version). I have done the USN and Israeli versions because of the contrasting colours of the fuselages of both planes. There are some more other versions of the Sea Bee that awaits building, at some time later.

Some people have asked how to build Bruno's Skyhawk. I hope these picures will help.

It's not easy. The center fuselage should'n't have an oval section. It's more like an egg or a trapeze with rounded angles, narrower at the top than at the bottom. The air intakes are a bit puzzling.

I added some weight in the nose (rolled strips of paper: 3 mm x 210 mm and 3 mm x 105 mm) because I'll add a landing gear and external stores (tomorrow hopefully).

This isn't the fnal version of my A-4AR recolor. I'll change the scheme on the wings and horizontal stabilisators to something closer to the Condor Decals intructions and draw a little white fairing on the spine.

The final pics for today.

I also did a test build of the 300 gal. fuel tank and ventral pylon and added them to my old VF-45 TA-4F. I removed the tail segment for this one.

Thank you both!

Today I added the landing gear and the external stores (2 AIM-9M and 2 300 gallon fuel tanks).

I also completed the A-4N. The MLG wheels are better done on the israeli Skyhawk than on the argentine one.
