JF-17 Thunder in 1:200. A bit more difficult than the Eurofighter due to the LERX/wing/horizontal stabilizer forming a single part.

I finished the austrian Typhhon. I replaced the original canopy with a new version (if a bit bulbous).

Lockheed L1011 TriStar TWA livery, 1/200
The next on show is Lockheed L1011 Tristar TWA, upscaled to 1/200 from Bruno's original 1/300. The model was largely finished before the Skyknight was started. (As a matter of fact, the fuselages of the MD-11 KLM and Boeing 377 Balair are half finished also, just awaiting wings and engines). So took a little time-off from the Skyknight build to finish it off by installing the wings and undercarriage (from Aaron's Tristar). If not, she'll be idling in the corner collecting dust. The other two mentioned above which are not Bruno production are wrapped up pending further progress).
The build was straightforward and photo print paper was used. The only thing needs mentioning is the body graphic, the red band along the windows on the fuselage needs slight adjustment/touch-up painting as it doesn't align accurately. Other than this, it was fun all through. So enjoy the views, guys. Papermate |

Indeed a nice model.
Just for the record. I do not deserve the credit for the design of this tristar. It was LitNik who did the work. |

Planning to start the carrier planes of the USN and RN 1935-1945, repaints by Gerry, and have actually started with the Fairey Barracuda Mk II FAA Easter Fleet 1944-1945. Having studied the template for a while but could not figure out where the circled parts in the attached photos go. Also, the colour tone of the original template (Pic 2) seems to be a bit too heavy to reveal the camo and I have attempted to lighten the upper surfaces of the wings and stabs and the fuselage. What do you think, lighter or darker looks better?
