Hi, Bruno!
I need your guidance. Finally getting back to the Chinook. Got everything on, except the landing gear. The wheels are pretty obvious, but what is the plan for the landing gear struts. they come as 4 small rectangles with two lines running from one end to the other. How are they to be made into struts? |

this could interest the KLM fans
I have uploaded the model of the boeing 787-9 of KLM with the registration PH-BHG "Mimosa" of scissors and planes in scale (1/300) repainted by me, but they will have to wait until they review it, but when it is available they will be able to download it and comment what they think |

It's been a slow build. The Chinook is definitely not a beginner's model. The front, I found very difficult. Anyway, she just needs wheels and then I'm done. Rotors rotate. Did this for ease of storage and transport.

Together at last...
Finally, after over two and a half years, I've built the Rumpler C.I civil with cabin (#1088) to complement my other C.I of Rumpler Luftverkehr. Hmmm... my fingers felt a tad rusty and the macro reveals a few areas that could have turned out better, but it's good enough for me.
Vienna, here we come!

Just checked to be sure. You build the models at 1/250 scale.
Simply amazing. I don't see any problems of rusty fingers here. B |

So, while I am stuck with a difficult model, I tackle a simpler one. I printed out Bruno's Boeing 727-200 in Lufthansa colours. I upscaled it to 1:200 and used 28lb paper (105g/m˛) As I built, I discovered a handful of details I wanted to do differently. I doubled up the top part of the vertical tail, changed the center engine intake, made the flap activator pylons ( or whatever they should be called) separate to make the assembly of the wings easier and am trying a modified wing spar, where I add wide strips to stabilize it. Almost done the model. After assembling the wings, I discovered that there should have been escape markings with arrows at the wing base, so I printed out new, modified wings. Really enjoyed holding this one. Thanks, Bruno.
