With it being made of out beer can sheet metal... how sturdy is she? What glue did you use to "keep it together"?

I like the way you used the labels on the beer can. You obviously incorporated the name on the can to be symmetrical stripes on the wing and then used it as a stripe on the top of the fuselage, very clever.

@YOAV, thanks for visiting. I would like to do your F16 in beer can some day.

@Michael, I drain the beer into the sink to keep myself sober.

@Falco, it’s pretty sturdy. I use CA glue as always. The reason that I turned to soda beer cans is that the model will stay almost forever without colour fade, sagging or damage, unless you break it on purpose.

@Beard, yeah to match the patterns on the wings and fuselage, I have to use extra cans.

Do you consume the beer shortly before build? if so how does it affect you build? LOL... I could see myself getting drunk just to have enough sheet metal to work with. I would too if paper was not my favorite medium.

I have to discipline myself in dealing with cans of beer. In the case of cheap beer, l don’t drink it but just keep the cans after draining the beer in the sink. For brand (expensive) beers, l usually drink less than half and just keep the cans. You may say that it’s a waste but it helps to reduce doctor’s fees at the end of the day.
