My Skol Bretagne, at 1/72, measures a wing span of 12.5" so the scale should be about 1/112
if the wing span measures 8", that is, if I'm correct. I have a friend who collects empty beer cans from her drinker friends after she learned of my hobby. For the last two runs, each brought back some 50 to 60 cans each. So I have plenty of can stock to work with. To cut them, I just use normal scissors. Papermate |

Doing Cafe's B-57 reminded me of Bruno's U-2 in my stash. It got build.
As usual model is up-sized from 1/300 to full page format and wingspan turned out about 10 inches.Nice size and well fitting model like all of Bruno's works I did so far. |

As I mentioned in another thread here is finished L3Y2 Nippon, transport ,or rather record version of G3M model 21 bomber.I jumped the gun and printed this model without checking-it should have polished aluminium finish rather than white.Other than that I scaled it up a bit ,it's about 1/72 scale now.Great fit as always and no trimming was needed.Very good model.
Here is more info on it from Wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nippon_(aircraft) Bonus-tiny Folland Gnat trainer. It's about 3 inches wingspan now and it's also enlarged. That plane was really small by any standard.Hopefully one day someone will do single seater version ,meanwhile I have 'Hot Shots!" version of it waiting it's turn to build.Anyone remembers that film? |
