One from "The Wind Raises" and one from "Hot Shots".
If you look carefully, "Hot Shots" also features the Italian S.211!

Yes I do B-ski. Lloyd Bridges was hilarious!

I've got this L3Y2 printed and waiting to build. Often looked at it and pondered how it will turn out- especially the nose. Looking at yours I can see I've got nothing to worry about. Well done.

Nose is perfect.Engine gondolas need significantly more attention but once done correctly fit perfectly fine.

Btw-has Lloyd Bridges ever done a film where he is serious?I haven't seen one yet.

Leslie Nielsen was once a serious actor too. Then he did the Naked Gun movies. I can't even look at a photo of him without laughing.

"Sergeants, book her and take her away"
" Sergeant Booker, Sergeant Takeraway"

(scene from Police Squad, prelude to naked gun movies)

or

"Surely there's something else you can do"
"Don't call me Shirley"
(from airplane)

I just finished Fairey Battle with a bit of remarking. It's now GR F from 301 Sqr (Polish).Squadron used those from August 1940 to October when they got their Vickers Wellingtons.

As usual excellent fit and no issues at all.I enlarged it (again) to full page format and printed it on laser printer.Letter F of the code is tilted a bit, that's the only mistake I made here. Superb model.

I added wing fillets.Still trying to get a hang of them and getting better I think.

Always good to see a nicely made model of the much maligned Battle. Well done mate.

Is that a Bruno?

Nice build mate, the Battle was fine for the brief but design/technology had already passed it by.
