Another addition to the fleet. I thoroughly enjoyed building this 1:300 Thai Airbus A330-200. I was a bit puzzled by the engines, as documented in Bruno's thread, but once I trimmed the pylons a little as suggested, everything came together well. I was especially pleased with the excellent alignment of the markings, and it is a very attractive livery. The only real error I made was that I glued one pylon on a little off-center, so the lengthwise engine seams aren't quite on the exact bottom on one side. Apologies for the blurriness of the first photo. Thanks again, Bruno, for the design, as well as the advice on the engines.

Looks great, Anne! I enjoyed seeing the as-yet-engineless fuselage last weekend and am glad to see that this one is mission complete.

Fairey Collection of Carrier Planes, FAA Home Fleet, WW2, 1/200
It's time to present Bruno's WW2 planes again. On this occasion, it's the Fairey collection, repainted by Gerry 1966, that I have presented on another thread, Navy Planes in 1/200. While appreciating Gerry's fabulous repaints/recolour, I have to express my gratitude to Bruno for his generosity and hardwork in designing sooooo many planes to us.
And now the Fairey Collection in WW2 - Swordfish http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/463299-post1087.html Barracuda http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/590523-post1291.html Fulmar http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/594572-post1314.html Sea Fox http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/595563-post1338.html Albacore http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/596065-post1348.html For you views, some pics on each of the above planes are extracted in the following photos. Thanks again and my salutation to Bruno, for your ingenious designs and Gerry, for your excellent repaints. Swordfish Barracuda Fulmar Sea Fox Albacore Papermate |

After googling for a while, I think the Sea Fox should come with floats. So the name should be corrected to just Fox.

An excellent collection of Fleet Air Arm Aircraft.
The "Seafox/Fox" does look more like a Fairey IIIF. Fairey IIIF aircraft profile. Aircraft Database of the Fleet Air Arm Archive 1939-1945 Fairey Seafox aircraft profile. My mini bruno collection
Just getting started on posting some builds. My small collection of Bruno's airliners so far. I learned a lot from the dc-10 which resulted in better builds of the 340 and 727.

The Swordfish(one of my all time favorite WW II aircraft) looks extremely good to my old tired eyes. Was this the aircraft that helped in the sinking of Bismarck?
Thank you for sharing Paper. I always love your work. wc |

Sorry guys, the Fairey Collection, at post 614, is not Bruno's works as I have found out the confirmation on another thread http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/5...post11424.html that they belong to Gerry 1966's own design. The only exception is the Swordfish that came out of Bruno's 100 series. Gerry has his own Swordfish that I haven't built for I mistook that it was Bruno's and I had already presented it.
May I take this chance to apologize to both Gerry and Bruno and also for the confusion. Papermate |
