I built this models within a few hours; it's a pretty basic model and consists of some 40 - 50 parts (I added the wheels therefore there are some more parts compared to this image):

Interesting size comparizon. There is an explanation for it. Lansen was an "attack" aircraft, not an interceptor. I have a book about the Lansen (in Swedish), and remember a flight magazine from the 50's - when I was a boy interested in airplanes - which explicitly stated that the Lansen was designed to carry nuclear weapons to Leningrad.

Those were the days when the Swedish military was hell-bent on developing their own nuclear strike capability, with a "research" reactor below Stockholm. Swedish peace & womens movements, mostly social democrats, put a stop to that. Thankfully.

Lansen was also the first Saab aircraft being developed with the help of "mathematical machines" - a whole room full of vacuum tubes...
