Interesting. I would much like to see a proper Auster as well. Have built the Zio Prudenzio model, but a version with interior and a little bit more built-up fuselage would be ever so nice... - L.

There's a Lad-n-dad model of Auster AOP available at eCardmodels representing an Australian Auster. Looks like a good kit to me.



...but that would need a Antarctic re-paint too. And no interior on that one either.

Now that I looked at those Hercules planes I realize they are 1/48 scale so my intention to build 1/72 is the right way to do it storage space wise. Too Herkys available:

USAF Polar Support

and U.S. Navy Polar Sppt.

The list is growing.
