Fiddlers Green A5M Claude

Hi all:

Here is the latest (or nearly lastest) from FG: the Claude, in a very nice paint scheme. I added some cockpit details, but mostly just built it as is. It was a pretty nice and easy model, as you would expect from FG. I had some problems fitting the turtle back on, and the extremely thin main landing gear seems a bit too long. But overall I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. And BTW, that's a old wargame box its sitting on. It was the only one I had handy that dealt with WWII in the Pacific.

Great job on the A5M Kansen.

I've been looking forward to trying my hand at this one ever since Glen first revealed it and I'm pleased to see how nice it looks (at least when built by you).

The presentation of the photos is great, too!

Very nice! The new models at FG are looking better. This one has several nice details.

Maybe I'm going to do the camo version.

Just what it says. I posted some pictures of the Claude over on the Fg forums last week. But not everyone here will see those, so I thought I would post some here too. Willygoat hangs out on the FG forum (as do I) so already saw them. I guess that means some duplication for some people, but these days I need as much validation as I can get! ;-)

And for those who Did already see my Claude over on FG, you will notice these are actually New pictures, so its not a total loss for you... :-)
