That's small really. Looks good. I've a question: A Canadian Ace flying a Fokker triplane? I'm interested in the history.

OMG I screwed up bigtime! It's a Sopwith Triplane, not a Fokker. I just finished a thread on the Fokker DVIII and must have had a brain fart. I'll have to figure out how to change the topic line if possible. Thanks Alcides for pointing out my mistake. D'oh!

I believe you can change it by editing the first post of the thread.

It was not my intention but now it has more sense. You've to ask a moderator to change the title of the post.

Yes, I PM'd Rick and he was kind enough to edit the title for me. So, there will be an update to my Sopwith triplane soon.

Thanks Darren and Nobi for reopening this thread. Maybe you've given me the push I needed to resume the build. Shortly after my last update I mounted the machine guns, windshield, and the prop hub. Then I ran into trouble installing the middle wings. I discovered after gluing up the port wing, that the outer strut that connects the lower wing to the middle wing was way too long. I managed to cut everything apart without causing significant damage, altered the strut, and was able to get the wing mounted. I realized afterwards, that the smart thing would have been to cut the starboard outer strut down to size while everything was apart, to ensure a perfect match. Woulda, coulda, shoulda. So, I got a bit discouraged at that lapse in judgement, something else caught my eye and I put the model aside. Then something else caught my eye, etc, etc. I'll follow up shortly with a couple of photos of where she is now - I'm hearing thunder and have to batten down the hatches right now before the storm hits. Stay tuned.

So here's a few photos to show where the Sopwith stands at this point. The open ends of the machine guns still need to be filled with glue, wire barrels inserted, and painted black. Lighting isn't good because of the thunderstorm darkened sky, so the images are a little low-light pixelated.
