F.B.A. No. 203 1917
I just dug out my print of the file and it is stated to be 1/48. Wingspan is about 25cm or 9 3/4in. No designer is listed on the sheets, unfortunately. A sweet looking little flying boat. I downloaded it from the Flugbeobachter site several years ago. I printed two copies on a laserprinter at work and I think I still have the file, but it is on a Mac Power PC which I haven't used since almost then. Could we track down the designer and make an arrangement with one of the online sales outfits? I do think there would be enough interest to make it worth while. |

Mr Meek, I like you downloaded this model many years ago from the same site you stated. I remember their were no instruction plans and the models had no engine, but the site had numerous pictures. I used a rotary engine that I had from another site. I did a google search and found the site no longer exists. I did find a site featuring the F.B.A. No 203. http://www.wwi-models.org/Photo/BRI/FBA/index,html
The information that I have is as follows: F.B.A. (Franco British Aviation) Centro de Aviacao Maritima de Lisboa 1917 Scale 1/48 Wingspan - 13.71m Length - 8,78m Height - 3,40m Wing area - 30,31 square m Perhaps we could try to contact the above site to see if they would happen to know the original designer and take it from there. When I get a chance I'll see what I can find out.

I'll throw my hat into the ring of interest- I'd love to get that model, too. If Bob and Tom ever manage to track down the designer....

I don't think we ever did track down the designer. At least I was unable to find out anything. I'm willing to share what I have. Send me a PM and I'll see if I can figure out how to do it.

The designer is Walter Werner of the Propellerblatt website. A few months ago he sent me a copy of the files. Walter's email is listed in the "contact" page.
I just looked on the site and the Schreck is not posted, although there sre several other nice downloadable models as well as much interesting historical info. |

You can still get it from the Flugbeobachter site via the Internet Wayback machine - i just d/l the 3 PDF parts pages OK but the images for the build don't seem to work anymore - looks simple enough to be an intuitive build...

There you go guys:D BTW there is no engine with the model, so you'll have to come up with one of your own
