Good evening.
Time for an update.
I started on the rudder pedals. Their assembly was straightforward, but found that the wire support had to be cut shorter.

Mounted the wire to the back of the pedals, then punctured the location on the floor with a pin and glued the pedals in position.

Then came the seats.

They went together easily. The most tedious part was cutting out the belts and the mounting slot in the back of the seats.

These seats were then mounted to the floor. I found my small square handy to hold the seats in position while they dried, as they were a bit top heavy.
This is where I am at tonight.

This is as far as we go with the cockpit for the moment.
Next up is the start of the front of the fuselage.

Thank you for following.
Comments and questions a welcome.

Jim

Question Modelik?

I have this kit , but it is published by the Modelik company. I assume it is the same identical kit.

Your work looks great.

How do you plan to make the canopy?

Thanks

Isaac

Good start for this model. I love the Luft46 subjects!
Best, Nando

Often, Gremir provides info on preprinted sources for his offerings. This one is identical to the Modelik one per his site's description.

My observation for improvement is that the color scheme looks too plain. I wish it showed a more realistic panel lines and some weathering.

Also, the tail marking look very unrealistic ( even though there is an unmarked version ).

The model would also look better with separate rudder and ailerons.
