Excellent job! This was the first printed kit I ever got. I'm still working up the courage to build it.

Were there any major obstacles?

Outstanding model. The petalled nose looks to be about perfect. Everyone hates those, but you've done a fine job with it.

Yes, this is a beautiful build!

The P-38 is my favorite fighters, thanks for sharing this. I had read a paperback many years ago about the design and development, I think it was called. "Fork-Tailed Devil" and that's when I really started liking it.
