Excellent work shaping the nose. Very instructive.

Leif

PS. I notice the cover shows airbrakes extended...

Probably the author likes "dirty configuration", I like clear configuration and these airbrakes will not in my glider.

Preparing for pressing the canopy.

Ha, now you have arrived at the most interesting part: The Canopy. Good luck and we're all very curious about your next update.

My compliments to your high and accurate production rate!!

Greetings from a sunny but hazy Holland,
Erik

Getting closer to the canopy... I guess the levers on the left side in the cockpit are for activating the speed brakes? Some years ago I flew in a motor glider and remember that the speed brakes had to be operated from the left side. The effect was immediate...

This once caused an accident by a student pilot who pulled the leftside handle with the intention to deploy the speed brakes on short final but he actually pulled the lever to open the canopy, which was also located to his left. The glider crashed and one of the two occupants didn't survive the accident.

Have a good paper weekend,
Erik
