OBP Tsybin NM-1
After what seems like ages, I have finally started in on a new model. This is the Tsybin NM-1. I first ported it into photoshop to add a few more details (I wanted to give it a more metallic look, and I also wanted to colour in a few of the panels with some gray), then I printed it out and so far I have cut out the body and wings, and started in on gluing up some of the parts. I haven't started in on those huge engines yet.

I build this model in 1/100 is very pretty and easy to build. The repaint is very cool. |

Looks good! I own the original, wouldn't mind the repaint though (you can check with ecards).

Nice Kickass looking airplane!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic choice
Same thinking as the M-50 Bounder 4 engined bomber: File:Myasischev M-50 Bounder.JPG - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia What scale are you building it at? You may want to consider clear flat plastic sheet for the windshield even though there is no interior for the cockpit. Looks better than paper in my opinion. Good luck building Isaac

Well, this project just flew into the circular file. I will have to go back to square one with the repainting...it was simply not working out the way I envisioned it. It also did not print out the way it looked when in photoshop...I hate when that happens!
I think I will take a break and work on something else for a bit and then come back to this. Its funny, but I find I have developed more of a fondness for repainting than actually building. |
