Superb!

It is great to see such a beautifully constructed and finished model of this wonderful classic airplane.

that Humbrol metal painting really works. The model is superb.

I did that a long time ago on some light cardboard models and it turned out to make the model even more solid. I didn't know you could actually print on the painted paper as well, though.

Spectacular, friend.
I have a pair of questions:
What kind of paper did you use to print the markings?
Did you print the model in only black grayscale, instead of color?

Thanks all!
Well, I use 160 gr paper and I sprayed with modelers airbrash Humbrol aluminum color over paper. The problem was that I was part of the paint spilled and I had less color than I had planned so I colored a paper with some smaller amount of paint than I planned job in a single layer, so it worked out accidentally. Then I print on black and white laser printer parts for the model. Paper for insignia printed i think on a some self-adhesive semi-gloss paper - it was printed in a copy store.

Humbrol was a paint made in England by the Humber Oil Co Ltd. It went bust many years ago but stock was still available. Hornby bought the name and had it made in China, I was told, but after complaints over quality issues, they now make it back in England. It is an excellent paint and I recommend it. I have some tins over 30 years old. If you clean the lid and make sure it is sealed properly it will last for years.
