Hello Sharunas, Gerard, Isaac and Chris,

Thank you for your kind words! I have some more pictures to share, taken at the Epen Airfield (.... ;...) in the very south of The Netherlands. Isaac, thanks for the movie link but I did not manage to open it (yet). There's a whole array on great Mosquito movies on YouTube, where you can see this mighty machine roaring over landscapes at low altitude. Just fantastic! They were so fast that their armament of just a "few" machine guns in the nose was sufficient. Nothing at the time could catch up with the Mosquito; speed (400 mph) was its main weapon.

Thanks again guys, I hope you enjoyed your Christmas holidays and have a good year's end and soon I will start a thread on my new project: The Fokker D-XXI, Dutch airforce (May 1940).

Cheers,
Erik

Hi Gerard,

Building period was exactly one year: December 2013 - December 2014.

Sounds like you're familiar with the oil & gas engineering and contracting business!! Luckily paper modeling is a world without deadlines and financial penalties...
