Douglas B-18A and B (SubHunter) Bolo - Murph's Models - 1/100

Hi my friends!

I show in this thread my builds of new Muphs Models B-18A and B-18B Bolos, Papermate build a fantastic model of early version, and Aaron give me a task of build the two subsequent versions the glass nose B-18A and radome nose B-18B...

The pieces, are typical Aaron finish, represent machines preserved in museuns today but all are historical acuratte.

I start by the fuses, cutting all pieces before forming...

The most challenge part is a delicate nose, Aaron capture very well the peculiar format...

After I made a nose of radome version...

After I glue mid sections and wing former...

I glue the nose sections with pacience...

Made rear sections, and after all subsets dry I join all parts of fuses...

Both look fantastic Pericles. Great work on the noses, they look difficult.

Thank's my friends!

Tonight I resume the build and made parts of canopy bubble gunner position in B-18A and tails...

The canopy is easy and fit very well.

Making of "bubble" on the nose of B-18A...

Finally the vertical tail with roots, I not found problems of fitting...

Tomorrow (maybe), new updates...

Thank's Friends!

I resume the build after three weeks of full personal and profisiional compromisses. Sorry for bandwitch excess in first posts, one of my account in photobuket have this problem, so I resume uploading in second acount for sho the rest of build. I believe in one week the restritio are removed, with reset of bandwitch limit.

I made horizontal tail with wing fillets, the only difficult for begginer is made a correct shape of wing fillet...

Gluing of internal reinforcement of wing...

Gluing of central sections of wings, I glue big area with foam glue is a safe mode to glueing big areas without deformations.

After I made the most complicated setp in the kit I believe the wing fillets, because is a piece with double curvature, but with calm, gluing tab by tab and wait dry, the adjust is easy and safe. I consume two days in process for both planes...

Continue... Soon...

I made a external parts of wings...

Fit without any issue...

Construction of gun turret (strange) :S

Steps of nacelle building, the remotion of gray area for fit in the wing is delicade task, the only modification in this step is laminated the engine face with heavy cardboard (made like a former)...
