Not to sidetrack too far...but I just want to remind everyone watching
that you can also get a free kit from me...in return for a build thread like this
and a couple of photos that I can use in the online store.

As I instructed Hangman, just take a look through my store (papermodelshop.com)
and any aircraft listing that doesn't already have a photo of a built model, can be
requested...and I'll forward you a free kit to build.

...
Hangman...cutting off the joiner tabs will work just fine. Using the two mating formers
you are "butt" joining parts 17 and 18 which is the original intended assembly method
before I added the tabbed joiner strip.

That yellow background in your photos is quite strong...but it works surprisingly well doesn't it?!

Fuselage looks great! 2D exhaust looks great too.

Gives the Spitfire a "vintage" look to it?

Getting WAY ahead of myself here, but.... did you pull the P-51C Excalibur III off your site?

Edit: Never mind, I found it. The link is obvious on the front page under the New Releases list, but the model doesn't show up when you browse the P-51 list.

It does...its in the "Civilian - International" section.

(There are two pages of Mustangs, covering 4 different sections and all Mustang versions.
Surprisingly, there are 60 different P51s in the shop now!
I didn't realize there was that many!)

I see - clicking the link for P-51 Mustang from the "Please Choose an Aircraft Category" page takes you to the USA models, and you have to click the link at the top to get to the "Other" page, which includes Canadian, British, and International models.

Anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread, hangman - looking forward to the next build pic!
