Red face Time to thin the herd

Now that I'm back in the USA and unpacked, I came to realize it is time to get rid of some stuff. So, I will go to our next club meeting and offer books, magazines for either free or nominal price. In addition, I'm getting rid of my second and third generation paper models I have built.

My first generation of paper models is when I was pre teen. None of those survived. Second generation is during my teen years ( like the B-58 and the Albatross ). The third generation is after a long break and resumed about 15 years ago when I re discovered paper models and repainted some of them ( like the Shoki and Raiden ). Fourth generation is what I build today and those I will keep.

So here are the pics of the ones I'm getting rid of

Also, I will discard some beta builds as well.

Yoav

This is the 1:50 scale simple version that I built before scaling it to 1:33 size. So I'm keeping the big one, but I don't need the small one since it was a test build only.

I'll try to give all these models to any of my IPMS club members.

I will post a link to my build of the two versions later.

VK, you took the words out of my mouth. They may be discards to you Isaac but they are looking fine to me. If I was near you I'd take 'em all.

Letting go of attachment to things can be very liberating. I have kept a few of the models that I've built but honestly would rather look at photos of the best ones as they existed just after being built when they looked their best. Some stuff I have donated and a few others were sold. I don't really miss them since I could hopefully build a better version now than I did before.

Perhaps that's what motivates ISAAC. His recent models are very good.
