Managed to do some work on the model. I haven't been able to put much time into it lately, but finally I completed the elevators and top rudder. I think now that I should have left the elevators to the end, they make handling the model a bit awkward.

Anyway, I always loved the rudder on this plane, and it looks great on paper. Having said that, I wish I hadn't taken the second pic, only then I noticed the tilt* on the rudder :(.

* I needed to look up 'tilt' to write this. I nearly rushed out to A&E to have my eyes checked :P.

Please help!

Hi, I'm stuck with the lower rudder. In the inflight version, the lower rudder is built in two parts: the top half (which is part of the original landed version), and the bottom half (which comes with the inflight addon).

My problem is that I don't know how to close the back of the top-half of this lower rudder. There is a back cover for the bottom half, but I cannot see a part for the top half. Is this supposed to be left open?

Thanks a lot for the info! I'm happy with that actually, the inner mechanism is shown even with the air brakes in closed position. I'll confess that I cheated with the upper rudder and didn't build it... :P

Didn't expect such a fast answer, so I started with the landing skis though.
