John is correct, I have done the F4U-1 with the Birdcage canopy, and have already sent one into Nobi for posting on his site, it is an F4U-2N nightfighter. I have a Tri-colored one done and ready to send in. Others in the works..

since were all just spittballing ideas for corsair paint schemes. I might as well display this video. this corsairs paint scheme is simple, yet GORGOUS. the straight on, dark blue top and the lighter tone blue with the white underbelly suites the airframe SO well imo. even more so then the usual tri color schemes.

no it's not. his original had a different orientation of the tri color scheme. the dark blue top comes in and connects to the wings. were as, theres no such connection with the color scheme seen in the video. I think this makes the corsair look much more "cleaner" then the usual tri colors.
heres an image that better presents what i'm talking about

Ah, yes, I see what you are saying now... That is an easy fix. I was planning on doing one like that as well as the two tone early paint job as well.

Frederico,
Do happen to have a larger size of this pic with the markings?? I could do them up, larger sized examples would be helpful.
