Congratulations on completing this project, Gary. I have certainly enjoyed following the build, reading your comments and Dave's inputs, and have been taking notes for my own build of a Maryland Air National Guard T-6.

Yoav and papermate, thank you for the comments of support.
Dave, that's what you get for making an aircraft out of paper! Don, thanks for the comments, and best of luck with your Texan (I look forward to seeing it). Thank you everyone for following the thread! Gary

Beautiful outcome on the Texan, Gary!
And by "wing fire coming", I guess Dave meant that, from our point of view, the exhaust looks as if it is directed towards the wing, thus the wing would catch fire due to the heat out of the exhaust pipe in that direction. Easly fix if you just turn the pipe a few degrees upwards, and away from the plane. Other than that, is a great scale model! |

Thanks Gerardo,
I made the mistake of lining up the intake piece of the exhaust to the exit of the exhaust, thus it winds up pointing to the wing. I'll have to redo the exhaust. Thanks, Gary

It was obvious to me, that some people might not line up the exhaust parts correctly.
I knew this would be a small problem. Thats why I tried to indicate the alignment with a central line on the parts, and I lined up the parts on the page with that line. But, just because I understand something, doesn't mean its obvious to everyone else. As I mentioned on the other paper forum, I really need to do an instructable for the exhaust assembly. Especially since I will be releasing the RCAF Harvard real soon. ... Don...you ain't never gonna finish that ANG Texan. C'mon admit it. lol You don't actually build models, do you? hahaha
