Hallo

@milenio3 : OK, here it comes .....

Fins and ailerons completed. I don't like the boxes - formers are much better - but I can live with this type of design. There are some minor mistakes compared to the real a/c but that doesn't really matter.

Hallo

now that I know how the fins and ailerons fit with the fuselage I continued with the assembly of the tail section. Again additional supports were used to align the transversal formers.

Hallo

@YOAV : thanx, but it could be better - scaling down makes the assembly a bit more complex - unfortunately the preciseness of cutting the paper does not scale in the same way the airframe does. Thats life ....

The tail section is now complete - for me it was the most challenging part of the a/c structure. Serveral additional supports were added at the locations where the ailerons and fins will finally find their place - but this will be another story (I'm going now to have another scotch ...)

big f-15 fan! Interested in the final product. From my experience the f-15 is one of the hardest jets to give justice to on paper, right after the j-20. It's turning out good for you!

Hello Klaus,
Great craftmanship! Ausgezeichnet! You really succeeded in changing the round shape of the exhausts into the more squarish form upfront.

Regards,
Erik

Hello,

off the record :

@Erik and paperengineer : compliments are most welcome - constructive criticisms and fair comments in my build reports/reviews are rare events in most forums.

Regards Klaus

That nose cone is perfect, keep it up buddy. Will she carry a full weapon and tank fit?
