F15c; gpm 4'2000;1:33 -> 1:50

Hallo
After completion of my F4E (GPM) scaled to 1:50 GPM kits have moved on top of my aircraft stack. The F15 is one of my favourite aircrafts - MicroProse flightsims of the "Mud hen" have stolen many hours of my life (when I was young ...).
Before I start ... is there a need to give a short overview of the kit ? If so please raise your hand
Regards Klaus

I've never seen this kit.
I always like to see the kit contents.

Hallo Airdave,
OK here we go.
The kit comes along formatted as A4 booklet
Paper is aprox 160g/m2
printquality is good
fuselage parts partly in metallic grey (hard to reproduce with inkjet - sigh)
ordnance quality poor - look at the sidewinders (big sigh)
approx 580 parts with good detail - e.g. perfect candidate for downsizing
Regards Klaus

servus maxe,

So lets the show begin :
Boring easy parts first : fuel tanks, one bigger centre, two smaler for wing-mount. The nose cones seem a bit to flat - suppose they have been dropped many times ...

sualk alter schwede,

@Gary, NH87 thanx - these parts are really easy

Next step is to provide the AIMs. GPMs solution is poor therefor I took the design provided by "Ober Freak" which I've already used for the F-4E.
My choice for the F-15C is the AIM-7M and the AIM-9L low vis.

Hallo,

next step is to provide pylons for wings and centre fuselage as well as the rails for the sidewinders. I've added some supports to make these elements more robust even its now 1:50 scale.
