Modelik Tupolew R-6. I need build references

I'm thinking of taking a break from jets and build this pre WW2 Russian bomber called the Tupolev R-6 ( the V sound is shown in Polish as a W which is then spelled Tupolew ).




I purchased it during a trip to Warsaw Poland back in 2009. It looked interesting.


I searched the usual forums for builds of this kit, but at most, I get partial or incomplete builds.

If anyone can point me to a complete build article in any language with pictures, it would help me alot.


The reality is that this is not a complicated model, but I don't want to get into a situation where there is something that is obviously wrong and I mess it up.

anyone knows the interior colors used on these between wars cabins? Probably bare metal on the inside?

I started building the R-6. I will post a separate thread on the progress.


The reason for this initial thread was to collect information as, I have not seen complete builds out there only a few finished photos and the amphib version MP-6. It is not a complicated model, but there are many pieces and alligning this long fuselage is not easy as I found out.

Blue Aerolak was offended used on interiors, but I don't know about the R6. There was a VVS site that had much good colour info.
