Went ahead with the slats and the camera.
For the camera I doubled up the lens, and after glueing the lens applied a little bit of glue, making the lens appear covered by glass. @Papermate: I use three kinds of glue : see the picture. The rightmost bottle I use for glueing (inside) spars, ribs a.s.o., applicator of the bottle is quite large, but it applies well for large areas The middle bottle I use for larger parts like wings etc, it can be operated with one hand which is sometimes practical. Applicator is medium sized. The leftmost bottle is for very tiny parts and precision work. Applicator is quite small. Got it from the ESM last year, from Diederik's 'Zeist Bouwplaten' stand. Glue can be removed from parts when I have been not precise enough and have a little spill on the part. |

Thank you. I will try to get these, as they obviously work very well. Some of that may be your expertise too

Hi Klaas,
Looking very good. Is the left bottle simple white paper glue, or also similar to the Bison one? I use Bison as well but like to use white glue for "softening up" joints as it is water based. As this type of glue deforms paper to a certain extent because of the water content one has to be very careful to use it sparsely and it's certainly not suitable for large surface areas. Then Bison glue is the perfect one to use. All the best, Erik |

Finally found some time to proceed with the model.
Built and attached the three fuel tanks, two sparrows and the electronic warfare pod. The sparrows were open at the backend, so I inserted a 6,5 mm disk in both of them and painted them black. Will do the same with the mavericks (9,5 mm disks) and the sidewinders.. Almost there. Lots of visitors at my home are amazed by your model, Yoav ! |

Klaas
Congratulation on this great build. Great work! I think it will be next for my build list. I have to make sure that all the .jpeg files print correctly since I screwed this up before. Isaac
