Thanks everyone! I am just finishing one more Mustang build and then I will send them to Ecardmodels. My daughter's prom is this week so I will be busy.
The repaint and build is of the plane that got the very first Mustang kill of the war in the skies over Dieppe in August of 42.

I have already done a couple of late P-51s, I just haven't had a chance to build them. They are a P-51K "Edmonton Special" from 442 Squadron and Contrary Mary from the 84th Fighter Squadron. One day...........

My last Mustang before I fix them and send them to Ecardmodels. A Mustang I from Canadian 414 squadron. This plane is credited with the first Mustang victory of the war over Dieppe on August 19, 1942. The plane was flown by American Hollis Hills who later became an ace in the Pacific flying a Hellcat off the USS Langley. Hmmm another repaint?
