I read twice your thread and enjoy all the images. Your buildings are superb, so, two questions: in which kind of paper and the weight of paper you construct them? Any commercial glue? Do you make your test builds in the same paper? Thanks. Tony.

Thanks everyone, your comments are always welcome.
Tony, for 1/100 I use Staples brand matte white brochure & flyer paper 170 gsm and Aleene's tacky glue. I use the same paper to test build. For 1/300 scale I use HP Premium Choice laserjet 24lb.

Yes, it is a commemorative scheme painted as a Harvard from WW2.

My latest repaint and build is of Bruno's Yak-1. I had to modify the rear fuselage as there was no step up for the "razorback" hump. I also had printer problems and plane printed out really pixelated. I am currently repainting a couple of Nobi's 1/100 planes and I am test building the Avenger. I have done the profiles and will post them in a bit. Thanks for looking.

Hi Brent,

it saddens me to hear the issues you had with this one. It is an old design and I really should revisit some of these models one day.

But You did a very good job improving it.

Bruno

Brent very good repaint. I had the same issue with the hump/canopy connection. did you use the wings and air scoops as designed or did you modify them as separate pieces?
