It is HP Premium Choice laserjet paper, 32lb or 120/m2.
Thanks everyone for your comments. I have put the wings on. I am not used to using the thinner paper and can see a line from the internal support on the port wing. I usually roll a loose tube and use that as the support, but I used the internal support as designed, oh well, it is a test build.

Very nice Reggiane especially in such a small scale.

I also find rolled tubes very useful spar material. They can be made in any diameter out of anything and best of all they can be flattened as needed. They are usually much lighter than hard card parts.Of course they have their limitations like your picture shows but then I have a lot of leftover cardstock lying around so making a loose "envelope" smaller than wing is not an issue.Envelope goes into the wing and spar will keep the proper wing thickness. No glue here at all-it will deform paper as it dries.

Btw-both Re.2000 and 2001 are the only Axis aircraft that I know with Curtiss type of undercarriage (not sure if this is correct term).Russians used it successfully in Il-10 and that's that. Not sure if anything else ever got build with it.

The only other one that springs readily to mind is the British Miles Master.

Whenever I watch a video of a P-40 taking off, I don't know why but to me there's something really cool about the way the wheels flip to the side and then fold back.

Yes, the landing gear is unique. I have started to add the small bits.

And done.....there are a few things to fix, I have to check the propeller shape, but it sorta looks like a Re.2001.
