Murph's Models - DeHavilland C-7 Caribou Golden Knights, 1/100
It is said that 1/100 is the new black so, here I go, to give the C-7 Golden Knights
a shot. Also, there's no built picture of this plane, so, here I go. Just some build pictures to show the excellent alignment of the graphics and the eccentric look of the tail fuselage. Papermate |

I've been meaning to do the same. Build that specific plane and build others that Aaron does not have good pictures of.
As usual, excellent build. "Ares" in two forms is up next from me... |

Thanks, Niki. Are you going to do them 1/100?
Looking forward to seeing that BIG thing. And here's some more. Papermate |

This is a beautiful model, as always, papermate.
As far as I know, C-7 Caribou 57-3079 in Golden Knights markings is still on static display at the U.S. Army Transportation Corps Museum at Fort Eustis, Virginia, USA. The curator was very helpful to Jim Gausman when he was working on his Vietnam-era Otters and would probably be sympathetic to a request for info and images. I am not sure of the status of the museum and its exhibits since the move of the Transporation Corps Headquarters to Fort Lee as part of the last Base Realignment and Closure, but if you want to follow up, I can check with the Transportation Corps Command Historian. museum USAcv2 Aircraft: De Havilland Canada YC-7A Caribou By coincidence, WVA included an image of one of the current Golden Knights aircraft in his threat on the recent Willow Run air show: Willow Run, Ypsilanti Michigan, Air Show [Post #7, Image 2] Current Golden Knights aircraft: http://armygk.armylive.dodlive.mil/the-team/aviation/ Don |

The C-7 Golden Knights is now up. Pretty straight-forward build without issues. The graphic
alignment on the fuselage is superb. Just be sure to add weight to the nose for landing mode. Papermate |

Beautiful work. Brings back great memories. I saw this aircraft the the Cleveland National Air Show many times when I was young.
