Glad for your approval very much Leif, these early 'stangs have a cool look to them, and unique compared the the more commonly built varients. have a bit of work to get things lined up properly, and some build issues I would know now...however, the parts and fit are really quite fine

Hi Mike, are you thinking of a sailing vessel next? I do agree that these Allison mustangs have a neat look, I hope I can translate that with this model....it is more difficult as I usually plow ahead on a plane and get in the moment and keep working, but do not have that kind of chunks of time presently...

Hi Glen: The sail ships are things of beauty, and I enjoy watching others build them. Alas, no plans currently to build one myself. Keep at that Mustang. Mike |

At a minimum, consider a roll of white or green wrapping paper as a background. Isaac

Update on progress, have put on the wing fillets, I think are not any harder than any really, at least the upper pieces as lots of work to do on the lower parts, doors, intake, ect. However did set on the rudder and spinning nose cone to see what the true length of the plane will be. Here is what it looks like with those on. The wing fillets are 2 parts, so glued the forward part on and let dry before attaching to the plane, and spent some time on the shape of them before thinking of any glue. The nose cone is the paper part, but waterproofed, putty paint, sanding, and I see is not quite right yet, but getting pretty close shape wise
Happy Thanksgiving to those in the US celebrating tomorrow..
