Thanks everyone. And now a little progress with tail fin fixed and wing spar dry fitted.
My next ambition is to do a working retractable mechanism for the floats. If it doesn't work
right, then the floats will be in the down position.

Thanks YOAV. And here are pics of the retractable or extendable float on on the left wing.
Will do the same for the right one.

That is really neat Papermate! I love that you are making the floats movable.

Thanks, Matthew and Jeff. That's not rocket science, so no big deal. But I just like to explore.
Is that what papermodeling is all about?

Other than building big, like this huge Princess, I also do smaller airplanes at the scale of
1/700, 1/800 and 1/1000. The three little one on the first row belong to the 1/1000 class.
You will see that two sparrow hawks, one hanging on a trapeze, are from the USS Macon
that I intend to do at 1/1000 mainly because of storage problem. Of course, that will come
much later after I have cleared up some other projects at hand.

Hi there, it's been a while since the last update. And now, more and nearing finish.
What's left to be done is to install the props and beaching gears. Final paint touch-up will
be carried out when project is completed.
