The landing gear is very impressive . That's a massive build . Regards. Ronan. |

Thanks, Gary and Ronan. The beaching gears need wires as strengtheners otherwise they
are too weak to support the massive fuselage. Papermate |

Beautiful build of an interesting aircraft. The cockpit section with all the former skins is especially excellent in execution and fit!
Great job of build and design. Aaron's designs just get better and better and more ambitious - and he succeeds beautifully! JoeG

Papermate, fantastic work with this subject so challenging!
I always loved the Princess, but there weren't models around that gave justice at this gorgeous plane. When i saw your build I immediately bought it. At the first look I understood how challenging was your endeavour, with all those curves and complicated sections. Another difficulty, at least for my skill, is to understand the sequence to follow to assemble the fuselage. The instructions are very "simple" and it's difficult for me to understand the shape that you have to give to the upper and mid fuselage, where and when insert the formers ( see sheet 4 and 8 ), etc. .... I think that more pictures of your built, mainly for the assembling of the fuselage, could be very useful. Thanks in advance and my compliments for the neat and precise build. Best, Nando

Nice spinners !
How do you do this ? are you using a big fan ? I like the counter rotatives effect on the four engines, must be difficult to do it ? (I mean , I think you used a second axis in an another). Anyway the result is fantastic. Regards, Ronan |

I enjoyed watching the spinning propellers. I am wondering about the same thing Ronan is, ie, how did you achieve the counter-rotating effect? It looked as if the propellers were spinning in opposite directions. Or was it an optical illusion?

I think he uses a small metal tube for them to rotate on, and laminates the backer plates on heavy card. The prop blades are angled to counter rotate (designed em that way).
