NOVA "First Air War"
There was a great program on PBS's NOVA tonight about a group of guys in New Zealand called the Vintage Aviator, who build exact replicas of WW1 planes and fly them to learn just how they were built and flown. A very good program if your into WW1 planes or aviation at all......Rich

These guys are in cahoots with WingNut Wings (Wingnut Wings)... I suppose if you've gone to all the trouble of doing enough research to build a real one, you've got an outstanding resource for tooling a model kit!
I often will download a copy of the various kit instructions as references to help me with my 1/48 scale models... in addition to whetting my desire to get one of the kits... Regards, Robert |

Although money may not alone provide happiness, it makes for a heck of a toy collection! R/ Robert |
