Been looking at different paint schemes for the 190 and these are ones I will do. A captured version (by the Americans) and the 190 that the Flying Heritage Collection owns (a local air museum we have in my state).

As far as the variant, I don't think FG was too worried about that. Just be faithful to that 3 VU you displayed. I also was disappointed in the inaccuracy and that odd camo of the FG design that I created a my own radial engine model (shown below). The fuselage is still basically one part, like the FG version. Good luck on your design and I look forward to that D long-nose version.
