Gerardo,

Nice work, especially your added wiring details thoughout and the chalk weathering in the NG bay.

2 Qs:
Are those self-tapping screws/bolts (no nuts)?
Can you show a pic of the 3rd bolt location (only saw 2 in your pic)?

Thanks, -J

Thank you, my friends! Yes, I'm enjoying this model very much.

Yes, those are the pointy type. So it is not a bolt, is a screw.

Oh, sorry! I didn't take picture of it. But it was a screw threaded just like the 2 on the upper side.
I could add a fourth, but I thought it was suffice with 3.

Let's show the air intakes. As you can see, I forgot to add strips to these pieces, in order to attach
the additional parts of the intake. But not to trouble! A few strips on the bulkhead later could help us there.

The thing is that this model comes without strips to join the parts for the fuselage and other areas,
so you either have to make your own, or be a good modeler and glue butt-to-butt.

And now the covers of the air intakes and the wing canard (I guess we can call them canards at this point).
It is very important to note where to make the foldings.

To put the canards in place, I used Tamiya tape, as always.

Hi Gerardo,
A day off from work, waiting for some furniture to arrive (yes sir, we'll be there between nine and five. How nice, what a way to plan but that's apparently how it works in furniture delivery land) so plenty of time to check out your thread. Amazing work! I can imagine this model is fun to work on and applying screws is very resourceful. The Tomcat is a great machine and your work is inspiring. I'll be following. Gracias!

Cheers,
Erik

Your build looks fantastic so far.....are you using laser cut frame parts (or backed with balsa?). Love the Aggressor colors, I posted a thread of a F-15 in these colors, looking for someone to do a recolor......Rich

@ Gary, thank you!

@ Erik, I know is not as clean as your Mosquito, but I'm enjoying this model. That is what this hobby is about, right? Gracias, Erik!

@ Joshua, thank you!

@ YOAV, this is a warm-up model for your F-4, which I want to build with great expectations.

@ Longbow, thank you!

@ Paperengineer... I didn't find the model anymore for sale where I bought it originally (kartonmodellshop.de/shop),
but maybe somebody has it still for sale around the net. I don't remember the price I paid for it, but was less than US$20.00.

@ Richkat, Yes, I'm using laser cut frames parts. And yes, an F-15 would be amazing! Maybe we can gather some $$ and tell
the Dream Team of PM to do it (Dave-Moshe-Zarkov). I built the F-15 Bicentennial and an E, both Zarkov's, and they are amazing.
An aggressor style would be fantastic.

A little more on the Aggressor Cat.

I prepared the main landing gear's wheel wells, also added some details.

Then I glued the wheel wells.

I can say that I thought a lot before glueing the wells to the internal structure, because I didn't have any good reference for them,
or if there was something else added to the set.

Nothing to worry about! Just glue the wells and then the skin around it.

In the following photos you can see the third screw that I added.

And also these photos are important as you can see how the skin goes around the internal structure.

Also note that I added my own strips to the skin pieces.
